Why lease a Chevrolet

During the 50s Chevrolet released many of their most popular and long standing models. In 1953 the first Corvette was introduced; the Corvette was the first car to be mass manufactured with a plastic body. In 1958 Chevrolet introduced the hugely popular El Camino to the market.This car was intended to combine the comfort of a big car and the practicality of a pick up truck. In 1962 Chevrolet branched out into smaller vehicles with the creation of the Chevy II and in 63 the mid size Malibu model. During the 70s and 80s they introduced newly designed front-wheel-drive cars such as the Buick Skylark and the Pontiac Pheonix. The Corvette also underwent its first major design change in 15 years during 1984.

The latest (sixth) generation of the Corvette have been praised for their design and good fuel economy. The C6.R variant has gone on to become an American Le Mans series GT1 championship winner. The C6 ZR1 has probably received the largest amount of praise, including winning Top Gear's performance car of the year and topping the 'Best New Cars of 2009' award at About.com. Currently Chevrolet are working on the 'Chevrolet Volt', an electric car that is set to integrate high tech gadgets and energy efficiency. Some of the features included in this model are a 7" LCD touch screen, a BOSE energy efficient sound system, an internal 30 GB hard drive to store digital music and voice recognition.
