The Prestige is the entry model, but the standard features are far from basic. This XF has 17" alloy wheels, full leather upholstery with heated front seats, automatic Xenon headlights, dual-zone climate control and a fully connective infotainment system, complete with a 10" screen. It's a rear-wheel-drive; there are two engine options and the choice of either manual or an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
R-Sport models benefit from the standard features of the Prestige, plus uprated suspension and aesthetic touches like 'aggressive' body styling, twin exhaust ports and 18" alloy wheels. Inside there is suede headlining, colour-coded trim and additional parking sensors. You also have the option to upgrade to a 'Single View Screen' which replaces all of the physical dials on this model.
The Portfolio model is all about eye-popping luxury and comfort that makes you question why you'd ever want to sit on your sofa again. Exterior refinements include 4-wheel drive, special-edition 18" alloy wheels, keyless entry system and a power tailgate.

It's all about the rear with the Jaguar XF Estate, which has a very decent 565-litre space even with all the seats up. When you need more room, the rear seats have a 40:20:20 split pattern and all fold to leave a completely flat area. The Jaguar XF Estate quickly secured a 5* rating with Euro NCAP. Standard safety features across all models include self-levelling rear air suspension, parking sensors, full-length curtain-type airbags and adaptive cruise control.
