It may be a small car to look at, but the Audi A1 is able to compete with some of the higher end hatchbacks on the market. The Audi A1 has a number of options, with 1.2 and 1.4 litre petrol models which are both turbo charged. If you prefer diesel then there are two available, which are the 1.6 and 2.0 models. If you want a car for driving around town, the 1.2 is a good choice, with the 1.6 adding a bit of punch.
1.4 and 2.0 diesel models are much faster and flexible, making them best suited for cruising. All models have a long top gear which assists in keeping the revs down, making the vehicle more economical. The 1.4 model has the option of a twin clutch and automatic gearbox.
The Audi A1, it's best used as a family car or a business vehicle for long distances, mainly due to it's fuel efficiency and its great performance. 270 litres of boot space is good enough for the majority of trips you'll do, although with the back seats folded down it improved to an impressive 920 litres of space.
